Ferrari GTO thingy
Well work has been busy so i haven't had much 3D building time. So inbetween compiles i been doing lotsa sketches on scraps of paper. And then i thought i haven't rendered a 2D car in a long time so i thought to give myself the side project i can do at work when i don't have time to invest in 3D. So i picked one of my sketches and here we go...
the first sketch is like the source sketch (drawn on the Bad Cat Calender). i then xeroxed it up a bazillion percent and dusted of my real world drawing tools, like pencils and paper and curves and elipse guides. i think my cat peed on those. something about the smell of plastic ( BAD KITTY!!!). and so that result is the second drawing to which i scanned into photoshop cs. then there's the last image of the day, the initial paths blocking out everything. the rims are really temp, i was just experimenting and it went horribly wrong. but it is a WIP. These are fun cause you can quickly open them and work on a detail here and there. i just hope to finish it.

wow, hot... especially like the others said, the second blue outline of your sketch!
...the reflection comes really good, but yea, you have to do something on the rims... they make the render look like plastic cheers TeeWorks... who definitely should also give himself a try for a PS-render.

stecki thats a great car. Now that you got the sketch up, are you gonna join the modelling contest? I would love to compete against that beast.

Wonderfull!! Almost perfect, much better than the actual front engine Ferrari
A little crit. the "side body-panel" are too low for a real use

huh.. i never knew you drew stecki, that looks really cool though, i'd love to see that thing modeled
love the 3 nose vents like the original GTO, very nostalgic the only thing i dont like 100% is the side valence, below the door or just that general shape at the front and lower side of the rear fender; only because the whole side of the car is flat looking, and then after that it just has a really sharp inward curve, i think it would be best if it slowly went inward rather than immediately as you have currently
