Hi Guys,
Been working on this the last week. It is a Porche 935 racer from 1978. It is a low poly model and is for a game .. not optimised fully yet. And, of course will look MUCH better when painted (will round out the windows etc.)
I'll post a DWF file soon so you can have a good look at the model.

Look good Dave... I am curious... what kind of game and what's their maximum limit on polycount?

It is for rFactor and with a budget of around 5-10k Polys.
This model is at about 6500 polys. Still have some things to add.
Just spent the afternoon ... but she is on the turntable in rFactor :D I'm like a dog with two tails !!!!
I'll post a DWF soon, you need to download the free DWF Viewer from autodesk.

Tiny wee in-game preview - just exploring textures
This is an earlier model, I've smoothed out some areas since this model :)

I think that is mostly the reflect map ... but as I said I haver a newer model that has a lot of improvements. The way rFactor renders a car is different from Max ;) And I am still learning how to do low-poly ...
I'll post the new model next time.
Here is another view of the old model to see the intake a little better :

Played around for a few minutes and knocked up this - using the low poly model with 1 smoothing group.
