And even though this my first post here, I for a long time on this forum cg-cars.com I'm not sure if this should go here or in the GENERAL DISCUSS section,
so if it's in the wrong place, my apologies (and can someone move it please! EXCUSE uneducated girl). I just loved this topic.
Honestly we should start some movement or society. Anyway I'm also one of those people who enjoy to discuss "Application Specific Forums".
In my opinion it would be a lot better to get some fact into our STUFF. I'll glad read all new information about this topic

a week ago...,i think,i said in one of those thread that we shuld make a reunion of cg-cars artist...somewhere,you know...,changing experience,discussing and many more...:buttrock:

but how? because here are people all over the world and it's very difficult to reunite them all...and probably many of them doesn't want that...

i want to hear who is sustaining me with this ideea(to make a "movement",a reunion)...at least to know if that's not possible...:banghead:

There are MANY reasons that they Spam.

Some is just to get their TAG on as many Forums as possible - even better when they have a web address (for search engines). Some want to lure you to their web site - not for kindness - more likely they are exploiting the lastest hole in your Web Browser to download spy/malware.

This one is a more sneaky approach.

"I'm a little girl" ALWAYS works with some guys (look at all the come and look at Britney/Paris naked links - think they do that for fun - NO) . They know this. They knwo how to push your buttons. More likey asking you to mail her. She'll send photos or something like that and you will again run a malware program.

A LOT of spammers are trying to get your PC as a BOT. This BOT will be used for all manner of purposes (and if tehy can get your ID or Credit Card numbers even better). They are trying all different methods now (becaus of security, virus scanners and web browser improvements).

Just play safe.

Scary isn't it :eek: Always use security when browsing websites.... Technically spam are almost everywhere....even if you want to Google up for car reference, spam could have still attack. Solution? Nearly impossible... spams is like a cockroaches or rats (which is impossible to kill all at once)

It is very likely a test run of new spam softwares. Sooner or later there will be more spams coming from this thing. I receive hundreds of comment spam attacks everyday and part of them are usually software tests.

Huge forums like Webhostingtalk limits newly registered members from posting links before reaching certain number of posts. Any plans to implement this on CG-Cars?

Nice try i´d say...a non-properly set up *nix box is as insecure as a windows box...and i seriously doubt the majority of windows users would be good *nix admins :D
