Hello. This is my first appear in here so I decided to post couple screens about early 60's cars.

These are going to be in game called rFactor. Plan is to make mod about 60's racing cars..

Here we have Fiat 850TC and Mini.
Adding details little by little and then some poly pushing before mapping..

Mod info:

Name:
Spirit of The 60's - Historic Touring Car Championship (HTCC) (starting from 1963)

Carlist:
Austin Mini
Fiat 850TC
BMW 700
Ford Cortina Mk1
Alfa Romeo Guilia
and more to come...

If someone wants to help our mod team (non-profit hobby), join us!! Let me know!!

LG.

Nice one, have not played rfactor so much but i know how great that game is. I only hope you're not going to make the seams textured and lots of smoothing groups, cause with the game engine and the atual power of the machines, they can handle a lil bit more polygons without problems.

I mean you do something like THIS (http://cg-cars.com/forum//showthread.php?t=3932) by Masakari987

It seems to me that everyone are making textured seams for rFactor and they use bump maps to get them look more real. I had this non-texture seams idea back in the day when I was modding F1 Challenge but I got some negative words about it. So I forgot it then. We'll see what I will do with these models :)

I havent really get known with these smoothing groups yet since I have had so little experience with max. Just been modeling for an half year now with max. Earlier I was using Zmodeler so Im not used to use these nice features max has :D

Got my Mini ingame today. Needs lots of work. Reflections, new steel rims etc. Driver and wheels are old ones.

This Mini (although hardly modified) is also going to be in Mini7 mod for rFactor. Mini7 mod is based on series in UK.:buttrock:

hey man, those screens look good.

If you need any models made, let me know. I LOVE the 60's sports cars and I am stoked that some one is putting them in to a game.

Have you played GT Legends?

I have some worked posted in the Low poly/games forum, or if you like i could e-mail you something.

hey logan!

Thanks for comments!

I really dont like GTL because I feel that simbin stole the whole idea from out modding team back then. We were making Historic touring car championship -mod (HTCC) for F1Challenge at the time. So they really tried to cut our feets and hands. But now I really dont care about GTL and those who think that my work is pointless because of GTL so I continue this project till I get to year 1969 with the cars. :)

And logan, u are the first who is offering help. I send u some PM soon.:deal::D
