I'm making this for the Light is Right contest at SMCars.net. I've been working on this the past week, but I still have a lot of work left to do. It is a mid-poly model, with a poly limit of 50,000. It's being modeled in 3ds Max. I'm also planning on bringing it into GTA: San Andreas. When I'm done with the model I will be posting prints of the ortho view, for anyone who wants to model it.
The current poly count is 7,994 triangles. Many of the pieces still need to be cleaned up, as well as chamfered. The tires are also just placeholders for now.

Got a little more work on it done. Mainly the spoiler, headrest area, and that flat part at the lower portion of the car. Would have had more done, but I'm currently learning some NURBS modeling in Maya as well :D
wooooow! nice to see this car in 3D! I wish u good luck in next steps...
loooks fine so far bro :)

Thanks rodderworld
Ok, worked on the tires a bit. I noticed that they made the bolts on the rims like the Porsche Carrera GT - one side is red and the other blue.
Total Poly count is now 31,678 tris. The tires are 4,656 tris each.
looks very good man, keep working ;)

I added the brakes
Poly count is now 35,462

Some things are easy, some are not. Trying to get the general shape spaced around was hard, as were the headlight (the shape wasn't hard, but getting them situated to look like the pics was tricky). Getting the rims spaced correctly was a bit tricky as well because 7 doesn't divide into 360 very well.

Thanks for the comments.
Worked on the front suspension some more.
@ Pan3sar - Yeah, they're just there to help keep things sized up and so it doesn't look empty. Once I get done with much of exterior, then I will be working on the interior some more.
@ rodderworld - I ended up having copy values from the Windows calculator in Max to get things right (360/14 ended up being 25.714285714285714285714285714286...). Using those values, I just modeled 1/14th of the rim, then used the symmetry modifier to that piece. Then I used the array to to get everything rotated around.

Pretty clean wires, Masa ;) I like seeing that you know how to constrain your highlights correctly in low poly. Very nice :o:

Thanks for the comments!
@ silvestro1 - lol, I didn't think anyone had modeled the X-Bow yet. You're right, though, it doesn't look too accurate, but it still looks pretty nice.

Thanks guys!
These are the headrests that I did like a week or two ago. lol I can't remember when exactly :S
@ rodderworld - thanks, but I'm sure that the engine isn't accurate. Due to the lack of good ref pics of it, I'm making up a lot of it.

Well , i think it looks great , accurate or not ( you know i don't give a ***** about accuracy ....... most of the time :) ;)) , great job masakari , is the competition still on or you're just gonna complete the model for yourself ?

Ok, a bit of an update. Well, actually, a pretty big update. Finished the interior, side mirrors, slots on the side of the car, added the two inset areas on the front bumper, and chamfered a lot of stuff. Total poly count is now 49,491. Modeling is pretty much done, except for a few things here and there that could be improved.
@nitrox - well, the contest is now over, but I'm going to finish this anyway. Although, right now my focus is on finishing my Countach since I'm getting close to getting that one done.
