i was testing a paint mat with 3dsmax 8 and vray 1.5 rc3..than installed 3dsmax 9 bcs i have now vray adv 1.5 final(it is only for max9)..as u can see this is a very simple scene,plane, teapot,vray light.the plane have 0.9 gloss reflection(vraymat).teapot car paint has not gloss reflct(somekind of shellac).vraylight have 32 samples for shadowing.scene saved in max 8.rendered with vray 1.5 rc3 in 29.1 seconds in max 8..opened and rendered with vray 1.5 final in max 9 in 17 minutes 17 seconds:banghead: ...system is, double intel Xeon dual core 2.8 GhZ ich..can someone tell me where is the sens of making vray 1.5 final ,the ultimate version i think,slooooooower than release candidate(RC3)???????!!!!!!:confused:
