HDRI Locations

Hi,

My first post here on cg-cars but hopefully I'll be able to post some more in the future. And hopefully this have the interest for you car guys :)

Just wanted to announce that I’ve opened a new website at www.hdri-locations.com (http://www.hdri-locations.com) where I’ll be selling HDRi maps with matching backplates for use in virtual car photography.

All HDRi maps are in 11500x5750 and all backplates are in 4368x2912. All hdri-locations comes with 1 HDRi map and several backplates so multiple images can be produced from each location. When a purchase is made the files will be available for instant download.

hi, I'm new here so sorry for nubish questions... is tere any tutorial for HDRI?

Just to make sure I got this right: I buy one HDRI package (package 0023 for example) and I get the HDRI plus several backgrounds for it, all for the package price of around 120€. If so, it would be great. Are there any examples, so that we can try things out?

By the way, some really nice locaions in there...

You are right, you get the hdri and all the matching backplates, so basically you get everything listed on the details page.

if you by examples mean a free "hdri-location" then no, not at the moment, but it might come. Also plans on adding a qtvr viewer for the hdr maps so you can see how it actually looks when it's not stretched out as it is on the latitude/langitude image. Will probably also add something that shows the high resolution some more, maybe like google does it where you can zoom in, but that would just be as an example as I can't do that for all the maps.

excuse me ..can we use HDRI in mentalRay as we use it in Vray ?
