freelance modellers needed, UK ...
Hello All,
I am looking for two to three freelance modellers for an automotive project. We work with Maya and Modo, although other apps will could well fit in. Duration will be four to six weeks. The project is confidential, so you will need to work in-house in Kent, UK, so please only respond if you are available and, where relevant, have the necessary work permits. Please PM me with your experience if you are interested and available to start within the next week or so. Cheers Last edited by pwm : 13-10-07 at 10:50 AM. |

I respect that you need people in house, but why would an NDA not be sufficient? I do all my work remotely, and this has never been a problem. Perhaps the client wants it that way?

Hi,
Indeed the client does! We have worked with remote people, so to speak, on previous jobs, but we can't do so on this one. Anyway, Kent is lovely at this time of year - if you like mud, and rain, and traffic jams..... ;-) |

well, so why did you wrote "freelancer"? It's not a freelance job
i would like to make it, but i cannot move to US, if you won't find anyone to work in house, maybe your customer will consider other choices? I can guarantee confidentiality. anyway, here's my portfolio http://veseliy.cgsociety.org or you can look through my signature, there are some projects of mine.

thanks to all ...
Hi,
Thank you to all who've responded to this post. To clarify the location thing - on previous projects we have worked with modellers all around the globe very effectively, and I expect to do so again on future projects. However, this particular one is of higher confidentiality so we are limited to in-house in Kent, UK. If you can make the UK with (work permits!), please get in touch. If you can't work in the UK, get in touch anyway, as we have a range of projects in the pipeline. Regards, A |

Yeah PWM I can have some work in pipeline. But I'm living in Turkey and I have no chance for leaving. I work with 3ds max but I'm making modelling only. Payment is not an importance. I'll be glad working with you
Thanx. my post is if you want to contact me. I have some work at www.the3dstudio.com alias mtumer or tumerfX

pwm,
I don't believe I have work permits to travel to the UK, but I thought I would throw some of my work your way regardless as you mentioned other projects going on. My URL is www.luciddesignsonline.com and my resume can also be found on there. I am also a Maya user myself. James Arndt |

Freelance is as in working for a company on a short term per contract basis. Never working on site is NOT a prerequisite for being freelance. It simply means you are not employed by the company on a permanent basis.
