    Modeling and texturing tail lights

    Hi everyone.
I'm new around here, so... ...hello!!
Maybe i'm asking for to much in my first post but anyway here it goes:
How do you guys make tail lights?
Is there any tutorial about it?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.

    By the way Merry Christmas!!

thats a pretty good question. But I guess just like any other part of the car, you know? The tricky thing would be the materials.

That's what I need, materials. I've managed to model a tail light like this (see attached file) but now i don't know how to texture it.
I've tried to add a bump map to the back part of the piece on the left of the pic but that didn't work.
    So, any ideas?

    Thanks again.

For texturing.... All I can tell you is find any image references, look for any closeup images of tail light, create your own texture and map it in. If you haven't learn how to map texture on geometry, start learning how.

For modeling, do the same, look for any close up image and model it.

Basically, there is no golden rule or guideline or yet tutorials due to variation type of tail lights... Technically, you have to try on your own.
