Here it is, the beginnings of what I hope will become a formidable work in progress. This being my first car attempt, I needed something somewhat simple yet stylish enough to keep my interest going, so the Camaro it is. It's hard for me to work on this as much as I'd like , but I hope to update as often as possible. Cretique away, show no mercy. Let the melee begin.
Patience is definitly the key, speed is not the priority here but thanx for the tip. As far as the blueprints go I made them from scratch, there are a feew inaccuracies I need to fix so I will redo the problem areas and post them when I finish the car. Hopefully that will inspire people to help me along the way. Lol.
@ younglion: Thanx for the compliment. If the wires seem like a bit much it's because I wanted a model that wasn't heavily dependant on being converted to a sub division surface to achieve a nice smooth look ( I dind't applty anymore than what I thought was neccesary-as in 8 is a good number for an unsmoothed circle instead of 6). I feel like I have successfully done that so far being there is only a slight change the cars shape when converted to SDS which is good for the intended accuracy. I'm not sure exacly the number range for "low Poly" , (it's not by Xbow and Ps2 standards) but I'd imagine this would be usable on an Xbox 360 (and a Ps3 of course...), so in that aspect I don't feel like i've overdone the edge count (yet, lol).
@ younglion & rodderworld: As far as the Blueprints go I made them from scratch and they've become pretty sought after since displaying them here and on Sektor-41.com. There are a few adjustments to make on them before everything will line up perfectly so when I do that I'll post them up here in high rez after completing the project. As I said above, hopefully that will motivate people to help me finish this.
@ puafia: I appreciate your observation especially since we use the same program and I'm sure you're be able to show me a few different ways t o approach a model, to just say things are incorrect doesn't quite do it for me. I have that pic you posted as well as many others and I gaurantee that for one...the roof height matches the side of the car as it was taken directly from photo ref (Check the 4 panel pic posted above). Often due to the length of the car nose when taken by a standard camra the car dimensions become scewed, causing demension changes like shown in that photo. I only left out the roof indent out for later. I would like you to show me how the bonnet is joined to the windscreen/shield incorrectly, cuase that I just am not clearly understanding, and I'm not sure what a pillar is.
I'm not taking your cretique negative just to be clear, just trying to see exactly what you mean.
@ puafia: I agree with most of what you reffered to, I can't believe I missed some of the things you pointed out (too muct looking at the blue prints and not enough at my ref), four eyes are better than two,two heads better than one..you know the sayings. I'll make sure to apply the necessary adjustments as well as add a bit more body in my next post for an interesting update.
Well, here I am again, feels like it's been ages, and judging from the date of my last post..it has. It's been difficult with work getting in the way, so I took a bit of time off (maybe too long). Since my last post I've started from scratch, as well as a few other car models to keep me from going insane. Anyway, here are the new wires as well as the other two cars I work on when I take a break from this one.

hi man, it looks good, but the images are a bit small, there is not much to see, try to post something bigger
A few minor updates, fleshed out the bumper, hood and fender a bit. I'm up way later than I should be working on this...but what can I say, when your hooked your hooked.
