A little bit unfair as the Escort they raced against was setup for going fast - BUT in a forest muddy, icey, bumpy, rutted tracks !! To be more fair they should have used a tarmac spec Escort. The Focus RS would probably still win (on the tarmac) ... but I know which one is more fun
I'm going back to Scotland for Christmas ... and my own RS2000. I hope it stays dry and NO snow :D

It is a from the REAL Group 5 DRM Racers of the early 1980s And they were from about the same period as the SWB Rally Audis - same style of "Boxy" aerodynamics.
Here is an unsmoothed wire. Some of the edges may look crooked around the arches, but that is because I was not drawing them parallel with the others. They all lie tightly on the correct surfaces.

just a suggestion, you colud put more edges at that front square holes on the bumper, to make them more square, thy seems to bem non square and non rouded square, if you undersand me...
'80 fords are great, I own one corcel 2, brazilian car, but the corcel 1 is very inspired at the escort, they have a god good engine and durability...
I've tightened up some wires (and holes) and added some more details and the correct wheels - I was lucky enough to get some great photos from someone who is actually rebuilding one of these pups
