    Seat Ibiza 2003 (WIP)

    Well,

this is my first post on this forum. Glad there are other people spending and sharing hours for their passions. I hope we'll seeing each other from now on!

It's also my first time I started building a car for practice and fun. I'm a dedicated Rhino user, but gave it a try in 3D studio MAX. The result is fair enough for me and my time spent on it. It keeps evoluting slowly during to other things that come first...

Enough with the talking, here is the image for the progress so far.

Looks very good. Could we see some wires too ?

Maybe your first car, but it looks like you have some experience in Max ..

Thanx Dave. Indeed, I have some experience in MAX, but never had a chance to make a whole car model on it.

Here is a wireframe of the same view.

Here is another view from a different viewpoint. I know it needs a bit of tweaking in the lights area where the cutouts seem to not follow the surface continuity anymore.

Probably it wouldn't annoy me. A good and dense mesh would do the job. There are some major settings that avoid lots of triangles in Rhino meshes.

Once I do a car in Rhino I'll let you know!

I've started modeling the inside of my Ibiza. Not a huge evolution here, but something to keep on modeling. The result is nice. At least it makes me go further and further

    I'm starting loving polymodeling...

looks great till now specially for the fist one

but the seat looks like peace of concrete. u should try to give it a litte of the organic shapes, that u can see on the ref. at different parts where plastik attaches to the lether, the leder gets pushed i different directions. u should try to ad this distortiones to your seat

    keep on going
