Folding the road - animation project

    HI.

I'll have to move my comp and stuff back to home (I'm abroad right now) for about 1,5 week - so I have only 1,5 week left to work on anything.

I decided to do an animation - but because of the lack of time first I'm going to do a trailer.

Simple - 4x4 3door car rages on the serpent and bumpy and heavily eroded city road.

I have an animation rig already so now I'm working on car model. It's intend to be simple, not too dense and optimized for animation - so no 2mil polys and stuff like that in my mind.

Anyway - I started modelling and here are the very first stages of the car.

Cars is called ASP Folder (ASP -Auto Sport Projekt, and Folder from folding...folding the road :])

I'll post the progress and post preview animations very soon.

    regards,
    mac

I worked a little on this lately so here is the progress - I think that main shape is ok, so I'll tweak the mesh to look better and start adding details. I'm planning to post some animation previews in a few days maximum.

    regards.

    almost there!

so - I'll finish my car today - simple interior, wheels and chassis; drivetrain and suspension left to model and maybe additional mesh tweaks here and there.

Aad then I'll start driving - I can't await to play with this shit so probably I'll post some prevs anims today evening :]

    Here's some progress
    regards.

so the car is ready - only suspension/drivetrain left to do but that shouldn't be a problem - and I'can start animating.

I didn't have so much time as I thought before. But - everything is ready - only suspension stuff left but this I'll do and link a while before animation.

Here is test animation - not tweaked yet - only linked my car to rig.
    Encoded with divX 6

Tomorrow I'll post for sure - preview of main animation and some frames :]

link for avi in rar ---> http://www3.speedyshare.com/data/256...usp%20test.rar

(I couldn't upload it here so that why link.)
