1) Change the diffuse to a lighter color, that is what I usually do when the ground plane is too dark, that should keep the lighting the same and not screw up anything else.
2) Little stuff like that happens all the time, i think it looks amazing, it just needs a little Photoshop work , use the blur tool, be careful though not to overdo it, and marquee tool it up if you need too with a small feather on it. Hell google image image search photoshop and look at what they did the kim kardashian lol
I am not a professional artist, This is just what has worked for me in the past.
Lately, i have been dealing with nurbs, so i have been getting no surface blemishes at all :P
Nice looking render I don't think you need to crop it to be honest. Looks good as is. Just ramp up the settings and spend some time in post. (Without cheap lens effects).

I really like the dodge viper renders the materials are excellent, you have to tweak some tiny details and it would be like a photo. Some ones have been pointed out by Helicase. And check the back window, it has a light blue-white gradient, like from a sky I don't know if you wanted to show that but I would use a grayscale gradient. Really nice work on there
About the Mercedes I think that something looks strange about the size. Like the room is small... or the tile of the floor... maybe is the wideangle lens effect or don't know. I would try a shot like the car near a window... like it would be watching outside
Keep working!!!
P.S.: The lens effect is ok but check some real photos and use them as reference to get a more realistic one ...
looks nice the first one, really nice ,but dude you seem to have a AA problem on your every render ,looks bad ,what fiter do you use ,and how many samples?

IMO i disagree, It looks good, but it is not 100%, the AA issues make it like 99%. Keep up the good work Domino!
