thanks for the comments, its really great, thanks

as for the poly count that all together render up there was 1.5 million but it has lost an engine ( but is gain one fast, see pics ), and it has also gained a flywheel, but i have not posted it, its not my best work, i might re do it later

@ andrei, i have not modeled any of the body yet i am goin to start it soon, prb when iam modeling the engine cause its a big bit, the engine being a twin turboed v8 there are a lot of extra parts.

i aslo forgot to add this http://www.lateral-g.net/gulbranson/ its teh real car

here are some new pics of wat i have done today on the engine block, i know there are a couple of normal probs but its late and i dont wanna wait for another render to finish

this render is just to show u how much detail is goin into it, i have not done any work under here yet (but seeing the render its not that bad just some normal porbs)

once agian, thanks for the commments

Welcome on CGCars Tom! nice to have you here!

so, okay, this is ambitious! ...makes me happy hope youre going this style on doing the bodywork - ah ok uve changed the engine block at the last render, was my only crit point, that the surface (with the cyl. wholes) had some kinda wrong angle... but fixed - aight

    keep it going! :buttrock:

Do you model from references? I mean, all of the parts you're modelling, they're just simply modelled to represent the original objects or they are actually accurate?

Just a little curious because the level of details is.. a little too much. :P

thanks for the welcome TeeWorks, also thats was the reason why i started the engine again

@ Snecx, i am just modeling from pics, i guess i will fine out how accurte the model is when i start doin the body off the blueprint but i have made the models so i can make them fit.

i just wanted to do a test render with both side of the block and all is well

    thanks for the comments

Oh crap! Amazing work... my dad had 69 camaro, and it burned whole body up due to screw up carb. That's even worst than losing your saved work

i did another all together render, and this time i think it is a lot more acurate, but scales and postions this time (apart from the intercooler dont know where its goin yet since its not in teh real car yet)

the poly count with that render was 1513251

    thanks for the comment SeSim

hope u all like the new render
