    Alfa 155 DTM

here is my first work, i ever did with a 3D Program - i will try to create the alfa DTM from 93 season.

I'm still learning how to use the 3D Program, but so far, this is the first result. At this time, i didn't use any smooth.

I always do the mapping after smoothing, mapping is a final touch to your model.
and also you may need to set the lightning, such as the reflection..etc.

ok, actually i started to learn how i can map the car, and i made a first try with the tires. As you can see, there are marked 2 red circles in the screen, here i want to rebuild the car, because it doesn't look really well.

For the tires: i used several smoothes (more for the rubber, less at the other wheel parts), and then i began to map. Afterwards i quickly painted the rendered UVMap (i know, it is not perfect painted, i only made a quick color on it, to see how the map fits)

Ok, that's my first mapping result, when i've optimized the carbody, i'll map the rest of it.

here are my first results to map a car. Right now i'm controlling, if all parts fit at the right positions. For so far, i didn`t made a mask of all the shadows at the car, also the size of some logos don`t fit perfectly (I know) and - sorry for that - till now, i don't know how to render a car (...ääähhh, how to render anything), so the quality of the pics are not perfectly presented....

saecco, you should attach the fender to the body...dont make it seperately as it will harm te reflections in your later renders...mapping looks good imo

here my last results, befor i will try to create a "shadow painting" with photoshop.
The logos fits ok so far, but they aren't 1005 perfect, and unfortunately not in best quality - but good enough to controll the correct placement.
