    Please help.

Hello. First I would like to say I am glad to be a member of CG-Cars. Though I am a noob at modeling. And i hope to learn alot within time.
If i have posted this thread in the wrong area I am sorry. If so can moderators please move it to the correct section of the forums please? Thank you.

First I have been looking for some tutorials. One that i cannot find is a tutorial on reflections. I know how to do light reflections and stuff like that but i dont know how to do reflections reflecting pictures. I can only get it to reflect the lights. How can i get my reflections to reflect an image instead of lights?

    Thank you for reading.

have blender but i dont use it that much. Sorry for not mentioning that.. But when i do that it shows up in the background when im done rendering. Do you know how i could get it to be on the reflections of the car but not in the actual picture.
By the way im a complete noob if you havent noticed already lol.

oh, so for vray, you need to put a hdri image to the override reflections slot it vray:: Enviroment setting, then you will have reflections of the background picture on the car, but you will not see it in the scene background

sure it can be jpeg, only lots of people use hdri, because you can use them for lighting too
