Well been busy doing stuff these days, so time for modelling is left for a secretly not so secret project, so whilst away doing stuff, did some rendering The Wheel was used to start off with, then I got carried away, crit away!
thanks guys, will keep in mind the contrast next time round. P2sta - they are toyo tyres actually =p just not T-1R's which that sidewall is, hence that part is hidden in darkness xD, they're R-1R's toyos still, but for sheer laziness sidewall is that
The rim material is spot on, the reflections of it are really nice and if I was you I would leave them as they are. The only thing though is that the material looks a little bit blueish. Maybe your environment is blueish or something in the scene is blueish but that's what the rim material is reflecting. Also the lock nut materials need more work ofcourse, I would assign the same material as the rim's material to the lock nuts but just a little bit brighter. The render still has some noise and ofcourse its just trial and error so far but just a reminder to increase the settings when you go for a final render. Apart from all that there is a huge improvement to this render from your previous ones and with a bit more work it will look good.
thanks guys, I did like the blue tinted lighting, and those blue lugs but yeah they were out of place, heres one without the blue lighting, lug nuts are done. FG values have been doubled, not gonna amp it up anymore for these tests, render times are too long. Oh and my studio was sabotaged
