    Formula Offroad 4x4

    Hy all,

still not really motivated to continue the alfa and thought about a quicky in between ( i know... again ) and give some other tool a try after that long time of vertex pulling
so iŽll give it a try and do this car as training topic to learn the tools.....

It will try to bring up some Formual Offroad 4x4 mashine for hillclimbing and other stuff they do in the north of europe

    C&C very wellcome as always

it may just be a bunch of tubes but it looks a lot like an offroader (not that i know much of what they look like but it seems reasonable)

    regards,

yeah u are right. but no 4 seater :P more like this one. it is called sandstorm and it is my main ref for the overall look but will contain parts of others because of missing detail reference of this one.

That is looking very good. I like the high level of detail on the Shock/spring that you have modeled. The only thing that I know of that you should add is threads to the upper shock body. I would think that a shock like that would have a threaded body. But really it is up to your personal interpretation.

thx. yeah you are right. did not do the detailing of the main body where the thread should be included. will follow as soon as i have more surnes about the overall dimensions. then i will also know how long the shock body needs to be.

first in catia the ones that are visible on the pic i posted on page 1. than at the end they will be replaced anyway for quad mesh tire and what i will use than is still open.

no. sorry dude but max is the last tool i will use i will go the path through deltage to maya. same as i would do at work. it is ( imo ) the most comfortable way to bring nurbs to polys that i have seen till now.

    c&c very wellcome.

    thx
