    et's rendering thread

Well since my Mercedes Benz C63 AMG thread was closed because its old, and i have almost finished it, exterior wise, i might just start a rendering thread to practice and improve my rendering.

So here are some of my current, stuff. Nissan GT-R made by AdvanRE7 (Advan @ smcars)

    C&C welcome.

Studio render will be greatly improved on over the coming weekend, I have found my source of quality errors, so which i will improve on.

Studio render was inspired by the recent Gran Turismo 5 Screen shots.

second render looks great, the first one is a bit strange because of the background color, but it's matter of taste of course

Hmm, i thought it suited it nice.

Subaru here had adverts with magenta clouds in a dark studio with a white car, it was quite nice.

Ok, you have a valid point there.

No more studios from me, especially the ones inspired by japanese cars. =P

    More outdoor shots soon.

I like the concept of the second image, but the
    magenta/purple scene...no, you need a better hue
    tone with that
    good start

    Thank you DarkHorse,

There is a issue with my color on my screens, its due to my graphics card color scheme. I will have to change that, because what i view on my two desktop screens is Pink, and its a very bright pink, its more of a bloom effect. Don't know whats the issue, but i will look at that so i can get better render, rather then what I see and not everyone else.

But anyhow, heres the fixed render. Now, No more, Im too bad at it.

Well I have a project which im doing for a job, Rendering a Audi R8 in a extremely Dark Studio, So only the highlights of the car its exposed. Im having trouble with this, as studio rendering is not my thing.

The render should look similar to the lighting on the tire.

    So C&C welcome.

1st off all you need a black ground with no specular+reflections! Something like this? http://forum.cg-cars.com/showthread.php?t=6038&page=7 Its only a try out, but maybe it hepls you a bit! In this x
case I used only a "self-illuminated-half-sphere" with an soft gradient from black to white to black...IŽll upload some stuff on the weekend. Iam away on a construction job, so IŽll upload on saturday i think...
