    2010 Camaro

I know the new Camaro has really been making some noise as of late and I wanted to give it another try. I had modeled one as one of the first cars I had ever tried and it didn't come out to well. So after a few more "attempts" at other cars I wanted to applied what I had learned to the Camaro again. I was also challenged by my Program Director at school to try to get a "game model" built in a week.

It has been about 3 days and here is what I have. I always seem to get stuck when it comes to the details, like lights and blinkers and such. So if anyone has any recommendations I am always happy to take the criticism.

This is the first time I have ever focused on smoothing groups instead of NURMS Soothing, so If anyone happens to read this and has any good smoothing group tutorials on something more complicated then a box I would love to give them a read/watch.

Well thanks in advance for any help.

Here is a first stab at rendering. I'm the first to say, I have very little of an idea of what I'm doing when it comes to that and I'm sure it shows.

Like before, Please any recommendations I am welcome to them.

Here is another quick render, I rebuilt the front bumper, from the concept bumper to the production. I ended up liking that one better. Seeing as the whole model ended up being a mix of the two.

The smoothing groups needs to be finished for the body. I think I am pretty much done modeling for what I wanted. Other then fixing problems of course.

I did end up over my poly limit though, I may be able to refine the rims and get back some of those pollys.

My limit was other 20k pollys or 40k tris. I ended up just under 22k pollys and 43k tris.

I'm going to start digging threw some rendering tutorials, I have knowledge that a lot of people here use V-ray, so perhaps I will have to look into that.
