long time no see... really nice progress as always. the inside of the engine compartment is particularly compelling. from this detail should i infer that you'll do some of the engine parts or am i just crazy?
That is the plan ... If I get enough free time.

Some more modelling - nothing sexy, lots of small tweaks and changes. Just a default lighting (no shadow) test render.
Ah ... I have part 3 on my hard drive - or at least part of part 3. It was getting long. Just been too busy on other projects to get ot finished. I see that Exidge has posted some back plates so it would be quite interesting to post the next section. I had included my own hdris for this tutorial ... maybe I should contact Exidge, Carl and Sesim and ask if I can use theirs ?
I'll try and get it finished this month.

That's right - it was a collaboration with Lotus. Ford did the same thing with Cosworth in the 80s.
The Lotus Cortina had a Lotus developed Twin Cam engine, reworked rear suspension and even alloy door skins. A quick and good handling saloon for the time. The guys I have spoken to, say that to be realistic the doors should appear slightly rippled !
