Not much work done - but added the correct steel wheels.

Still got the green stripe and Lotus badges to add.

Looks fantastic! The only thing that doesn't look great is the area around the rear wheel, doesn't look planted but I guess you are just testing soI will shut up now

Had a problem with my Scene file ! Took a lot of working from other saved verions to get it back. Glad I took a lot of backups, but didn't want to lose all the new work.

Placed in a new location. Not much modelling done [ busy rebuilding scene ]

Ahh ... got a few hours to adjust the bodywork some more (from Cortina owner's feedback). Added some more modelling. Still lots to so.

Tried out a silver paint, new location, and with a basic stripe - not a standard colour scheme but I like it

Nice like always Dave. I have to say, silver has this way of making old cars look more modern than they are [well for me anyways]. Looking forward to seeing more.

Lots of subtle modelling tweaks. I have had some pointers and many little things to adjust from Cortina owners.

Refined the stripe and added more parts, including the Lotus badges.

Here on colour coded miniltes and on slightly bling GP5 BBS racing rims.

They both look good I think BBS version suit better most... Minilites would suit better if its a convertible version (Do they have one?)

Hey Dave, I don't know how I missed this thread, but it's great to see you back with another classic! And as usual, the hdri renders looks brilliant!

Are you going to do interior?

    Regards
    Giom

Thinking about doing some interior. Quite simple on these cars.

Also thinking about doing the TwinCam engine.

Just finding spare time is the problem !

Tiny updates, with period colour, matt bonnet edge and racing sticker.

It is a period colour (AS Lichen Green), Petter and is accurate. It is from 1960. Different palette of colours then. More subdued compared to our high contrast colour fashion tastes now. Think 60s baby !

This is the type of colours they had ... not "washed out", just from that period.

Here is a list of the actual colours offered : http://freespace.virgin.net/tommy.sa...intandtrim.htm

No spangly metallic strong colours. Easy to add though.
