    Learning nurbs

Hi, my name is Ivan and I'm from Bulgaria
I've been learning 3ds max for 2 years and I'm pretty sure I know the basics. I've already made my first 3d car
But I did it using polygon modeling and now I'm trying to model another car but I'm having a lot of problems and I've heard of nurbs modeling for cars but I have no idea how it works. So I basically have two questions:

Is nurbs modeling better than polygon modeling when dealing with cars?
Where can I find decent tutorials on nurbs modeling, I searched google but couldn't find something that explains the whole process?

    Hope you understood me

First... There is No "Poly-modeling Better than NURB" or "NURB better than poly-modeling" Both software are entirely different.

-Poly-modeling is more of free-form-sculpture-like program doesn't require strict or extending math computation

    compared to...

-NURBS which is more of fondling with industrial standards. Technically Its an Advanced software for serious engineers.

So, Moving yourself into NURB software after having difficult modeling cars in polymodeling software doesn't or wouldn't help you become better car modeler.

You just have to keep on practicing, everyday.
