    Plugins / Workflow Improvement

HI, this is a little thread about plugins I found useful and hopefully will improve your workflow too. So, you are invited to let me know about scripts and tools you are using.

    The Outliner
This script brings the Maya Outliner to Max - but more powerful in my opinion
For those who aren't familiar with Maya - it lets you manager you scene, create hirarchies, group objects (with auto open and close groups in Max), hide & show objects and groups and many more. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
Download & All-Feature list could be found here:
    http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/outliner

    VMC - VRay Material Control
For the VRay users, this plugin comes very handy - it lets you change parameters of all your vray materials with just a few clicks, or just the materials in the material editor slots. Very very handy in my opinion, so have a look:

    Modifier Auto Select
This useful script lets you (who guessed ) auto select a modifier like turbosmooth or jumps directly to your base object. So, this could save you a lot of clicking Here comes the link:

    Smooth Manger
If you deal with big scenes, and a lot smoothed objects this scipts lets you change the settings of all your Turbo/Meshsmooths or just of selected.

    TexTools

For all who are dealing a lot whith UVing and Texturing - really great toolbox with a great functionality
    Features & Download:

    DBC PolySelector
Great selection help when in poly mode - for these who are using max09 and below. In max10 a similar systems is integrated in the graphite tools i think. Anyways, here comes the link:

    Mouse Select
This script throws up a menu of the objects under the cursor for selection - similar to right-clicking Photoshop's move tool to select a layer. I use it quite often, because click selecten sometimes is an adventurously thing in max

    SoulBurn Script Collection
The most powerful script collection for max around. Don't miss it
    http://www.neilblevins.com/soulburns...urnscripts.htm

I also mapped "Use NURMS Subdivision" on my "T" key. This gives you a preview of how your object would look like when it is smoothed in poly mode. It's little bit faster than selecting TurboSmooth or ShowEndresult with a smooth modifier on it.
