    I think you should render this car into a scene, not just the set up above. Also your tires need some work, it looks like car paint, they need to be less shiny and more dull and rough. Otherwise amazing paint material

    Thanks, guys!

    You are right, I will have to look at the tires a little still. I'm happy with the thread, but the sidewalls are too shiny.

    Why is it, that taking reflection down to 0 seems to eliminate the effect of a bump map completely? Not that I would need to have completely non-reflective tires, but just something I found out while testing different materials on the them.

    I will probably do another scene with the car, including some background stuff, or even a backdrop photo, but I'll save that for later. Actually that's what sIBL is for - you have a 360 degree panorama hdr and a jpg and you'll get lighting, reflections and the background that match!
