This is my first post and its a concept car that I have been working on for 2 or 3 months now. The car is meant to be a mid-engine hypercar. I wanted to make it a car that really stands out and looks intimidating. I have tried many different body designs but this one just clicked. I find this concept looks awesome from any angle but I will definitely take comments to make it look even better.
thx man. Thats funny that you seid it looks like a Zenvo ST1 because that is the other car I am working on right now. I will post that soon. Here are some reflection test on the front end I fixed some of the line flow on it. I would like to know what you guys think of the headlights?
Good to see new concepts. This one looks like Zenvo meets F-117 airplane. However, I think you may improve flow of car's lines. That small air intake on door is better to add later when you are satisfied with overall car's shape.
P.S. My first concept was called WASP because it was made out of wasp model.
My car was completely made very roughly to show the line flow, when I said improved line flow I meant cleaning up some of the lines, the basic outline is already done including the back and interior and engine but I didn't share any of those pics but here they are so you know what I started with. Right now I'm making it high quality. That's wierd that yours was called the Wasp; mine is called it for a different reason. I called it that because it's supposed to be fast like a wasp and it's a cool name.
Hey again, sorry for the delay but I was traveling during the winter. I have completely redone the car this one has much better flow. I think it's really good but I want to make sure everything on it is perfect before I make a HQ version, hope you like it.
If you can show your wires with your clays, that would be good. What I'll say about the car is that I like it. I like the front, but not the back so much. I suggest removing the piece between the lights that goes all the way down; remove that and your design will immediately be more simplistic and clean.
Just my opinion. You decide
Software could be XSI.... Unfortunately it doesnt have anti-alias for the wires (as seen), and default wire colour is black.
On the other hand, could be anything...heheh
The software im using is softimage xsi, it's good for modeling im thinking of getting 3d studio max because i hear its much better for texturing, thx for the replies im not sure what to do with the back it problebly will be tweeked. Here are some wire frame pics.
Hi, I have decided to drop the last concept and make a new one. I have been working on this new concept for quite some time now. I created the full body as high quality but still lots of work to be done.
Hi, a concept really makes me exceting, especially the concept hand drawing. It brings me more exciting more than the final rendered or photograph version. Would you show us your initial hand sketch for this baby? If possible.

Here are some rough concept pics, now I do things a little differently, what I do is dimensionally measure out the most important parts (passengers, motor, and wheels) and then I create a very rough line flow of the important lines in XSI (unfortunately I don't have pics of this, sorry) Then I build on those lines until I get a shape I am happy with. I have tried to draw concepts before but they just don't turn out as good. I do it this way because it's easier to make changes with it and you get a better feel for what it's going to look like in 3d. I do the hole concept from start to finish in XSI. These pics are of the last changes I did to the body before I created the HQ version of the car. I'm sorry I don't have any earlier pics of it, it has really changed since what I started with.
