Citroen Traction Avant 22 Berline 1934

    Hi guys!
I post my first WIP of a Citroen Traction 22 from 1934. this car never went into production due to the fact that the only few prototypes built were apparently, not so reliable as they should for a V8 engine car. So, Michelin brothers decided to transform and sell them as regular 11CV's in 1935 when they took ownership of the company from Andre Citroen. No single car surfaced till now.

The car is pretty much done, altough I still have to model the tires, undercarriage and interior. C&C's would be very appreciated!

Thank you for your comments, fellas!

@DaveCox: indeed, it's a very gangsta car, the one that Lucky Luciano himself would have loved to drive back in the days!

I just finished modeling the tire of this baby, a Michelin Superconfort Stop 160/40, featuring the original '34 tread, not the newly redesigned one from the present Michelin classic tires catalog!

    Thank you, guys!

Now I'm working on the mechanical side of the car (front and rear axles, wheel hubs and brake drums). For the engine compartment, I think I will model only the parts that are visible through the grille, radiator and gearbox, mainly because I simply couldn't find a decent photo reference of the V8 engine.

Go to a museum or something - you must do an engine.

You are right, it's a shame not to model an engine for such a beautiful car. I will do it then, but obviously, without interior moving parts like pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, valves... only the visible parts then.
