Very good work flow. But in a way I think mesh is too dense... Maybe I am wrong, I'll just wait and see the outcome after it's smoothed out and how this would look in reflection.

I'm guessing you are going to fix your edgeloop flow to have a more even-spaced geometry, Your reflections for sure will be messy with the topology the way it is right now.
This is for Maya users I hope it works for you though, the secret is to find a function called rebuild curve, you will need to rebuild the curves in the edges of the panel (patch) you are creating with the same amount of vertices, If the panel has the same amount of vertices tan the one beside, when merging'em together you will have the same edgeloop count. Does that make sense?

yep makes sense, i just chamfered it, it looks good, however when i test it with reflectons they pinch. even tho it looks smooth. will have to re do it but to be honnest im puzzled a little bit. because the topology is rather wrong. there are no bumps, but weird gloss \ reflections. Will get it right i hope.
