Yes but on your refpic you cant tell if its right or left, so check this and you know what i mean Link

    windows black outline
Window frame, and BMW calls it "Shadow Line" for black or "Chrome Line"..

How to array geometry along a curved line
I would create the circles and attach to one object and than use "Bend modifier"

Show me a exploded view of your taillights should be easy

I definitely think that's the way to go in this case. There seems to be no mess or problems around the holes, good work with that.

I don't know if you've seen this already but i'll share with you anyway, hope it helps you with the detail. I modeled this car yrs ago the rear light details crazy i didn't bother to get it accurately then.

The problem is, there a 2 different taillights.. the one which KiRO is doing is the pre-facelift one with round LED's .. the facelift one has rectangular led holes

i dunno why it looks so difficult to model, its just really easy

I think those lights should be easy enough to make. Plus think about what you will learn if you dont know how to make them.

Thanks for the feedback, I am not having any trouble with the geometry ,it is easy as pie at least cutting the holes is, but I dunno if you undestood what I was asking for, I ment not the LED lights but the ones which look like straight angel eyes (the circled ones in the attachment), I want to make it by geometry not texture, so thats why I was asking about the array which I still don't know hot to do, the spacing tool does array them on a path put it doesn't align them to the tangent of the line in other words it doesn't rotate them like I want (see attachment 2 (red=spacing tool; green=manually rotated by me) I hope you understood me this time
If not its not a big deal , I'll just make a better texture and play a little with the materials and I am sure I can get it at least decent looking
btw: I started working on a studio trying to get smth like that:http://www.bmwroad.com/bmw_images/bm..._wallpaper.jpg
and just realized how much post production was made to that picture, for example how is there such a strong shadow on the ground yet the top of the car is really dark, also the bottom part of the tires is soo light and the side mirrors don't cast any shadow, it isn't just possible also the carbon roofs very well lit but yet again the rest of the top part of the car is really dark so it will be very hard making smth similar

    1. Create a Cylinder and with many height segments..
    2. adjust size and position..
    3. selegt height segments with "Dot Loop" and ring, than delete, so you get circles..
    4. add Bend Modifier to get right curvature..
    5. if the curvature still not perfect, use FFD modifier..
    6. add Shell modifier to get thickness..
    7. add turbosmooth..
hope this helps a little bit
