2 full res HDR & backplates for download, if you give me feedback!

hi everybody!

recently i shot my first HDR panorama especially for 3D applications (with backplates that is). i am pretty curious if they are competative... therefore i let you folks here download them and use them for whatever you want, royalty-free.

offcourse there is a big but... i would love to hear some critics from you guys here! and offcourse i am pretty curious what you achieve with my maps, so i would kindly ask to show your renders along with any comments in this thread!

plus it would be nice if you tagged your render with your own name and/or link and "HDR image & backplate by www.foto-m.nl"

some points in advance:

- the total dynamic range is not that wide (6-8 stops exposure shift), but it should do the trick. got some nice renders out of them myself.

- the map shows a white spot at the zenith (bottom), another map from hdri-locations (yes, the free samplepack) also shows this. haven't been able to figure out why it shows, any ideas?

- there is some ghosting going on in the second one, from the cars on the nearby road and the flags. i already waited out the moments with as less moving cars as possible, but can't wait forever with moving clouds in front of the sun when shooting hdr...

- thumbs are small tone-mapped versions, HDR images are 10000x5000, 5000x2500, 2500x1250 (environment and reflect maps) and 500x250 blurred (lightmap). if you use the large maps for light, you will get a noisy render. all backplates are 10MP JPG;s taken with prime lenses for minimal distortion.

- both backplate collections contain depth of field, but the focal point is always somehwere on the floor where your object will be. in the second i used the orange peel as focus point. camera aperture and focal distances are visible within the EXIF. (only 20 and 50 mm prime lenses)

Because it's just a free RS account. Upload them to Fileserve instead, there's no limit.

damn... this is the second filesharing site that i´ve tried...

hotfile deletes the images for copyright reasons over and over again, and now rapidshare starts bugging me with this...

i will give this fileserve a try somewhere tonight...

That is not really a great resolution, at least not 10000 x 5000 as he said in the first post. Will you upload them too?

these are just previews.. i think if you download, the res should be higher

the HDR large images are 10000x5000... definetely... the preview JPG is only 2500 wide...

smaller HDR versions, blurred HDR lightmap, tonemapped JPG version and approx. 15 backplates per package.

download them, check them out yourself and please show me what you make of it!
