this is a great community and there are many pretty good skilled people to learn from...
It's been a long time since the last time I've modeled a car, but I decided to model this Car taking care of all the details and trying to push my skills to the next level...
here are some "very early stage" shots. I'm using a combination of Polygons and NURBS, and I'm under Maya.
C&C are very Welcome and will be very useful!

Someone here has any good idea on how to fix that horrible shape behavior in the air intake corner?? I'm not so experienced at car modeling... it may be a simple one for you..
I've added some low poly wire cage... Thank you in advance!

well thats the problem if you rush with modelling.. you cut out the intake to early, and now its hard to fix this.. its possible but its hard.. i would remodel the outer part again and delete some edgeloops (its too dense for now).. find a perfect shape and than add some edge loops.. lastly you can cut out the intake.. thats the only way to get it clean without problems on reflections my suggestion

Yes Duron, I thought.. Re-modeling the outer basemesh may be the only good solution to get those reflections working good.
Before I've tried creating a raw NURBS shape, whit the air intake cut on it, and converted it to a polymodel and then I've snapped the vertexes of the polymesh, but the result was not like I wanted...
Tomorrow I'll try to follow your advice...
Thank you very much!

mmmh It is REALLY hard to understand how the lower bumper is built in this car... My blueprint doesn't help me at all... this part is only visible in the front blueprint, and a very poor area is visible on the side blueprint... nothing visible on top.
It will be really hard to build this with the necessary accuracy in 3d

Just analyze the shape of the car.. the blueprints you use for orienation and accuracy but some areas you need to work close to ref pics (rule of thumb estimate)
Also check the GTB from Element on High-End section!
Ok, as I mentioned yesterday, I've just started to re-build all the front bumper main geometry, to get a good base mesh in wich the air intakes could take place without having too much "shape continuity" problems.
thanks to Duron for his precious tips
I've added also a quick edge reflections check.. tell me what do you think about it..

Ok.. a very little update.. I've adjusted some things on the mesh, but still there are few things to fix, like the corners in the upper part and the very weird lower area wich you can see isn't working very well on the side view, but seems good in the other two.. blueprint bug?
besides to that, the shape is quite smooth and polished

look, blueprints never match together to 100%.. you have to work close to ref pics and compare from different angles till you think the shape is accurate..
the shape is still wrong.. look at my last pic and you will notice that the upper main line is curved like a S and the bottom main line is straight.. your bottom line is also S-Shaped.. check that
Yes Duron, you're right... Must keep a sharper eye to these details... I still have some difficulties thinking at the shape without its holes when I model... Must pay more attention.
