A long time ago i use to mess with modeled cars but they were never my own. Anything i worked on was already made by someone else and i just would mess with rendering it or edit them best i could. I always wanted to make my own and eventually get really good at it also get good at VFX since thats what i mainly do as a side job. My goal is to one day be good enough to build similar to this (Link Here) but i quit a long time ago because i didnt have much time any more. Now that i have way more time, id like to get working on making my own products from scratch/blueprints. I have many tutorials, but i always seem to get stuck or mess up. Also i have issues that i cant figure out how to fix. I asked people for help and now they rather me make a new thread instead of bother them so here it is.
Work in progress as well as learning in progress.
Sorry i dont know how to render with wireframe very well.
First one is not smoothed just to show the failing lines.
I fail so much they say i rule the failzone. I love cookies.
Ill probably need alot of help but so far so good.
Started working on the rim but having many issues so ill try again later.
I tried test rendering and i am having an issue with the viewport background. In a tutorial it said to setup the viewport background as the background you want to use but when i render out, it doesnt show.

Keep polygons regular in size and shape and don't use N-Gons (5 sided polygons).
Try to make the edgeloops flow from vertex to vertex and not jump around.
Build the shape into your model, don't rely on TurboSmoothing to help you out too much.
Have fun.

Thanks for the pointers.
I dont see where i have N-gons though, i try to keep everything with only four sides if i can.
I think i know what you mean about vertex to vertex.
Thanks for the tip about turbosmooth. I just remember the tutorial used turbo smooth so i thought thats what everyone else used

So... i tried creating a rim the same way i tried making the car model since no one knows a working link for the falken tutorial im looking for.
