    [ast] McLaren MP4B 1982

Here's a new one I started, slow but steady at least. All surfaces are single span, degree 5,5. Rims are made in Rhino and just temporary placeholders. Most of the surfaces have to be rebuilt tho. Crits please

Crits? Hmmmm...The wheels look fine, though we cant really see much.
Shame they were not made in alias too.
Regarding the other surfaces.... I think it is going to be a nice coffee table. Or a nice sofa. Just kidding.....
There s not a lot really to comment yet on the surfaces

Good luck with your work.... Looking forward to see more.....Alias is the "sheet" for car design..... Always a pleasure to see.

It'd be a very comfortable sofa . Not much progress lately but anyway...
I need some suggestions with constructing a surface with continuous curvature (G2?) bounded by the curves as you can see in the first picture of attachment (top and bottom curves are blend curves). I've tried almost every possible way but still failed miserably in every possible way .

hehehe.... It s not easy, i know. Why dont you try to make it first with G1? I would try first with G1, to see how things can go.... Try different patch layouts, be creative. It s quite tricky and it takes many experiments to do things as we want. I hope you dont give up. Everybody has the same problems you are going through. Normal.

    Good luck mate

Got some time on and made the surface I'm having problems with (single span, 5 deg). By the way, is it okay to have numerous small patches at certain places which are plane?
