    Aston Martin V12 Vantage

Got caught by the aggressive but yet elegant looks of the AM V12 Vantage. I think I've started out a bit wrong, mesh is not very clean and has a few bumps. I will probably do it all over again.

Hopefully I will soon get some blueprints for it since Erik S dug up some old drawings for me to use.

Well here is my first try on the side skirt.

You should start with first getting the overall shape right, now it's hard to change somethi on the sideskirt when you find some inaccuracies. Btw, can you show us some normal shots out of max without the reflections? So we can comment on the smoothness of the surfaces. Good luck man

Thanks Erik. I actually did start with the overall shape first, and then splitted it up in pieces. However, I have already started redoing it, with some accurate blueprints

All right, lets get this thread running. Im currently working out the basic shapes. Might look a a little bit rough right now, but I'm working on it. I'm using the technique when you start building up the rough shapes of the car, and then apply the subsurf/smooth tool and start fixing the details.

    C&C are welcome

This remind me of DBS I worked on few months ago... Your progress looks good... But--Careful... the side vent mesh isn't correct.

Your DBS was inspiring man, nice job, and thanks for your comment. I see the small vent issues now, will fix that.

These vents took a lot of time, but here they are Unwrapping needs some more work.
