    Please take your time with this, as there are a lot
    of particular edge line soft/hardness all around this
    model. It's a descent start

    Hi mate.... You need a tighter mesh to avoid those dents and wavy forms. Tighter, in this case, means with more density. Try. I think you will have a better result. It s harder to control, but pays off in the end. You need your polies with the same size whenever possible. That s my advice. If you can make poly patches from from 4 sided curves in blender, give that a go.
