    Bmw e46 m3

    Hi everyone!

So I thought i should start a project finally. Im pretty new to car modelling and also pretty noob in 3D modelling so try to bare me The reason why i started this thread was to get some help and some good advice and opinions, so that i can become better

I have started this from the beginning three times already (didn't like the way it went and i want to do this right ) offcourse i didn't get very far these times so don't worry

The first problem i have is with the blueprints, I think i got them all the same size and aligned but still i can't get the polys to match every picture :/

edit. btw its a bit misleading that the front view is actually back but don't let that bother you

There really isn't much to say about it yet since you're just starting. The wheelarch shouldn't be as defined at the bottom http://bmwbox.com/wp-content/uploads...2/100_0080.jpg (hope you get what I'm talking about), other then that keep it up.

You should start off with less polygons untill you've got a clean base mesh, then you can add more to get the details in. This way it'll be easier to get a smooth mesh.

It's also a good idea to look at these wires http://cg-cars.com/showthread.php/4666-Bmw-E46-Csl
