    Subaru WRC 2000

    Hi guys

    i started modeling this subaru for my portfolio and i will keep updating this topic.

    Im not happy yet with the shader.. anybody have tips about metal shader?

    Looking good, I recommend you finish the model before you start rendering.

    As KnoopA said focus on modeling now, its good to make quick test render with default paint to check reflections etc. but don't spend too much time now on it. As for material your referring to car paint or chrome iron etc? Im still learning Modo but maybe i can help show your shader setup btw are you using psds or regular sds?

    Thanks!! as i said.. i will think about shader later..

    new images with hood details and the side.. next step is trunk and rear bumper!

    now i will do the rear wing and the roof scoop

    Im probably not most qualified person to give advise here but from what i see so far you ve got nice mesh with some ngons (although PSDS handle them quite well) and probably some bumps or maybe its just render settings, also pay more attention to reference photos you made some edges too sharp or maybe i looked at different variant of the car any way i think its worth checking keep up the good work

    I tried to fix some of what u said

    Its my first car.. and some parts i cant handle yet... but im trying!!

    Its the exactly car that u found.. and just a question.. where u found this pics? i have a lot of it but this 2 i dont have! hahha

    No problem as for struggling with some parts of a car well alpine is my second car and to be honest sometimes im still spending too much time on simple things maybe after 10th car it will be easy and straightforward for me Btw i found those photos on flickr and whatever you do don't give up otherwise you wont learn anything

    there a couple things that aren't exact, but i mean for your first car it looks pretty good, i would probably get the car done to the best of your eye, and the once the model is done go back on it and tweak the issues you find
