Peugeot 205 GTI ( I Came Back On CgCars )

    Hello people of CGCARS !
    Long time no see,
and for you here that are active on SmCars, Hi

Well I'm working on a new project, basically my own car, I own an Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 ( standard body dark green color, original rims, dark green leather on the seats, and a nice sound system )
Tho on SM cars i'm doing it for the contest , here i'll be doing it for my self, and basically there will be two types of the car.
One stock whit full gear, and one a bit tuned.

    So stay tuned

Here is the progress so far, C&C are most welcome , since they boost my inspiration and motivation and keep me going

    Cheers!

Yo! Nice to see you here! I'm Goku112 on SMCars. Looks nice, man! I'm really digging the spline cage, and the mesh looks balanced.

    Ah .... the 205 GTI.

Great wee cars. The 1.6 was a sweet balanced car. The 1.9 is more peppy, bigger rims and more exclusive. Used to be a little hesitant when pulling away I seem to remember, with a little flat spot at low revs. Some guys I knew used to stall it a lot when driving in heavy traffic. I loved it - and coming from a tuned Escort running a high lift cam a little flat spot low down wasn't a problem ...

I remember the old magazine advert showing a 1.9 racing up a mountain pass, with the line "if you want something sensible, buy an anorak"

I've never used a spline cage before ... I need to think of doing it next time. Any tips ?

    Thanks guys.

    @Dave_3d
Peugeot 205 is really a great car. only problem is that 1.9 GTI drinks up 10 liters on every 100 Km which is kinda a lot ! ahh yes i didn't told you guys that i have an ZX 2.0 engine inside of my car ^^ minimum 130bhp . so ye i kinda smoke all newer stock cars, tho my dad killed my injection, because it's really powerful engine xP
And about the cages(it's hard even when you get a hang of it xD ), try it, if you can't make them on your own , i offer my services.

Any way guys the project has been put on hold for the next week , because I got a job offer.
But stay tuned , because an update is here , small but still :P i did the base headlight mesh, and took some pictures to understand the headlight box, it's more complicated then i imagined :| which is bummer.

any how ... next to be modeled is a light bulb h7
