Hello everyone.I finally decided to start my rendering thread on there.
So here is it: I will start with this VW Scirroco
Rendering(Illumination,Shading,Lighting done by me.
Mesh Data by Evermotion
3dsMax 2012 & V-ray 2.0 and few touches in PS.
Full HD Render I will appreciate your critics. Thanks
hi it is really nice, but I would fix some things, like:
the back wheel shadow is darker than the front one
on the side there is a really black rectangle, if it is a plastic it should look like the front ones.
the side mirrors plastics also have that problem
and don't render it with the front plate or put something there like your name
Anyways it is fantastic, it have a strong look at the first time that you see it
Great work
looks nice ,great improvement ;But you should try doing the bg white from 3dsmax or do a alpha pass to use in ps ,cuz its visible in some places that you masked it afterwards, and only around the car and not through the glass -windshield & stuff ,so its not so good . + as EquiNOX said the shadow doesnt look that realistic .Overall it looks somewhat close to a product render used in car advert .keep going
Hey,thanks for all your comments.
1-You're right, the shadow may be it's wrong but i seen over the internet a lot of examples like this : http://www.evworld.com/press/mitsubi...studio_Vlf.jpg
Also i know the problems with the plastic but it was too late to start another render because i changed that material and i forgot to check if it fits or not.And the render took 4 hours. The only solution is to do a region render with the wrong elements then work with them in PS.
@TnB: I tried to make a transparent backround but v-ray 2.0 have a bug.In png format doesn't make the shadow, only the car withot backround,so my only solution was to replace the backround in PS.
Thanks for all your comments

gabi_hantig--> That Mitsubshi MiEV you just showed is Probably 3d renedered car or photocropped-adding-fake-shadow along with plain white background. So be careful on what type of reference you are looking at. I recommend you to study general withe studio photography (you could use the power of google), it doesn't have to be car only but any general objects and look how these physical shadow reacts.
Here's tips how you could do it in 3ds max based on my experiences, add a direct, omni or spot light with 1 and below light intensity above car, exclude illumination on entire cars including parts and leave only ground plane that is able to receive illumination and shadow. There you go, you'd get real physical shadow in studio scene.
