No problem, u just entered a usefull tool, that allow u tho modify ur geometry by pulling only one vertex and adjusting the influence curve. Next time, when u'll have problems in maya, that always appens, just go to ur own docs folder, look for "maya/2011 x64 (only ex)/prefs" and delete what is gone wrong. Maya will automatically create a new one and restablish the "default" viewport and what else! =)

That's a pretty good work! this cage is used to keep u in mind the right proportions when blueprints are not the best! so for now it does the job! =)

Well, i think i understood what u need. I just suggest u to leave all the default cameras as they are, with a single image plane. Then, crate a new camera and set it as a default bookmark (back 4 ex.) and add to it ur image plane. If u change an actual camera it flips the existing one from one side to another, that flips also ur images and ur view. So, create a new one =)

(if u can add me on skype, i think it would be a lot easier to talk in our mother language )

Nice spline cage, but watch the shape of the side vent. http://www.carstyling.ru/resources/e...CX_2007_03.jpg

Just one thing, don't rush and go as slowly as u need to do it the best way. Sorry for my disappearing but my monitor is gone ( curse u Samsung ), What i'm seeing here is that u're using too many polys for ur first model, cos much polys u enter in ur shape, the harder bacome to handle them in a perfect way. And last thing, when shooting screenshot don't use smoothmesh =) show ur geometry in 1, so we can help u much more!

The way hood bends it seems that it does that in different direction, also you have strange crease on a front fender, also the part where body meet headlight has corner which, if I'm looking at the right reference I don't see, also your side seems to be bumpy, and I see no point to use many polygons cause the side of that car all down the side line seem to be almost flat so there wouldn't be any big problems dealing with area like that.Maybe your spline cage is wrong in some areas. Anyway I don't know too much about modeling but do you use splines of that cage for modeling or its just a reference.
