    Australian Night Sky.

Been studying space at my own free time for years now, i love it. The stuff you learn about whats out there is mind blowing. Our milkyway is spectacular. Since i was young id always lay at night and just watch the sky.

Recently i got a DSLR and starting playing around, im not good at it at this stage, i dont have a folio or a site but i just wanted to share what ive caputered so far. If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve these id appreciate it.

This was taken 100 km away from the nearest city, on the beach. I tried my best removing noise, but i wanted to see the milkyway as bright as possible.

btw the brightest spot is the center of our own galaxy. Amazing stuff Australia offers some nice views.
let me know what you guys think, ill be uploading alot more here..

here is an hour long shot, from my backyard. Im near the city so thats why its soo bright, but u can clearly see the stars.
I didnt know you could see the south pole from australia, esp so high up, i thought itd be very low on our horizon. Was very surprised with the result.

I like the first one. The second one is too orange for me. Way way to much light pollution for most of us to take pictures like that, very cool!

if you have that very nice camera, and live in such a beautiful part of the world, make some HDR with that bad boy!

excellent photos. thx yasick to upload them!
I love watching the night sky me too. it is always a good friend when you have to think about 'things'...
seems you have a good spot, with little light pollution. that's great. sky in australia seems really awesome.
too much light in there, most of the time :/
