BMW 3 Hartge
Hello to everybody, ad some problems with my Z4 so i decided to start a new car, once again a BMW, the latest serie 3 prepared by Hartge...
So this is where i'm so far... 1st création of the spline cage Begin of the modeling end this is the model right now Have a nice day... |

Good work. YOu can get rid of those 2 edges in the middle of the hood and move the next ones closer to the middle (to balance it out). Also, the headlight spray thing: you need to make that one better. There are edges in the middle of the bumper that you can get rid of. See, when you have edges like that so close to each other your surface will not be 100% smooth, so you need to keep that in mind.
One more thing: is that supposed to be a round shape on the fender side ? Are you are trying to get a round shape using 4 sides ? You have to use at least 6, no matter how small the detail is it has to have at least 6 sides to be 100% round. Same thing is on the top of your bumper, near the grille holes. And the door edges are too round, not precise enough; you need to cut more in those areas. Fix these things and itll be in the advanced section for sure.

Nice work Flam00, I have always want to model car with splines in max, and it's been struggling for me. Maybe splines isn't good for max afterall. Anyway nice work there, don't lose it again
