Okay, so I got Vray for Maya 2008 and I have run into a bit of a ditch, When I try to render a scene of an Audi TT I modeled with polygons, then Subdivided before converting to polygons, with Materials added, Vray runs out of RAM, I tried rendering at a resolution of 700x700, Is there anyway I can get the RAM usage limit set to around 1.7GB?? I have 2GB of DDR2, and 1.7GB is the usual amount I set mental ray to....So anybody have any idea??
I already tried ![]() ![]() This is what the error said: // Error: Exception [module=1] : Memory allocation failure; 1040000 bytes requested; 292015001 bytes already in heap; 5101792 bytes free heap space. // // Error: There was a fatal error rendering the scene. Any Idea how to resolve this issue??? I'm a little desperate..... Last edited by TheSaladMan : 04-05-08 at 03:32 PM. |
