Hi all! Total newb here!

My first attempt at modeling a 3D Car was a Dodge Viper that didn't turn out very well. My second attempt, which I started about a week ago in Maya, is an unfinished Nissan 350Z. I know this car has been modeled a thousand times over, but I'm following a web tutorial and felt it could be a valuable learning experience. Any comments/advice are welcome!

Hi petter!

I'm not sure if you're saying it looks terrible or if it looks ok?

I will turn off the floor reflections.

Anyway, thanks for your comments!

<noobism>Well here is my first 'noob car' hehe..please be gentle

Yup, I know the lighting and reflections are messed up on the hood, but it was a problem with my hdri file.

The seats are Corbeau racing, their my first seats I've made.</noobism>

Getting started

hey guys I'm new to this forum, this is my 3rd attempt to model a car, not taking it to render stage so far.
I'm willing to Lear more by modeling existent cars, and from this push my modeling technique in Rhino to Class "A" surfacing.
Thanks in Advance
