Noooo, Renders not working. It takes over 1 day to only do the final gathering points. Is there another way? (trying Gelato)

if u r trying 2 render with maya can u not import the models into max n render using max

Hey man, tell me your settings of FG/scene. I never even reached 1 day computing FG points with my largest settings and largest amount of objects.
Its incredible

try to turn off the flag "Cast Final Gather" in mental ray section of Attr Editor on objects that very small or unnoticable. It will cut your render time a lil.

My settings are on the defult preview final Gather. I only have one light which has no shadows. Will try the Cast final gather.

Only one problem, i dont have many small items to tick the cast final gather. Also i cant find the final gather flag, is it caustic or globalillum?

FInally, the render came out, but not like what i wanted to be, No Final Gather, No Shadows only GI. More to come.
