BMW M3 Tuner PiLLZ

ok since this thread has no deadline for now, so i decided to jump in, this model is still a work in progres and i will fix things along the way

omg what a mess

okay, just a small tip, when using meshsmoothing, use as few polys as possible .. until you get into the detail stuff, your making it hard for meshsmooth to do any good

tnx for the tip but im not a great designer yet, so thats something im gona have to work on in the long run, and belive me i know this mesh looks like shit im halfassing this car so dont wory i will try and make it somewhat decent looking, thats why im entering it in to the begginers place, im sure there are far wors ppl then me. i have only been using this prog for 6 months and 4 of them were just understanding the whole concept of 3d

Im gonna have to say that XCNuse is wrong As long as all your polies are evenly spaced it doesnt really matter how many you have, as long as you dont have any wasteful polies

Although you can get away with lots of polies, it isn't a great idea. First off, it doesn't always work and if it does, you're gonna have more polies than you need. Anyways the point of smoth modifiers is to do the subdivisions to get it smooth, you'ld be defeating the purpose if you made such a dense model. Plus, it's more work to get a smoth model with lots of polies because it's more potential bumps.

I agree...

There are a lot of polies on this model you could do without.

By doing so it will increase the quality of smoothing across your model and make the render times quicker!
