Headlights with V-ray
Well i'm making a 5th gen Camaro, and now i'm tryin' to lighten up the headlights. i tried using vraylightmtl but i don't like the results, it has about no shyniness (soz for bad english) and it's kinda opaque too.
How can i better this part? |

well, a pic of what your scene is like and the results will help. you probably need a lens or something to make it glossy because when lit up the light part isn't glossy.
regards, rodder

Well render times are a killer. and i treid using this mat
http://www.vray-materials.de/all_materials.php?mat=145 Behind a glass and even this mat only. it felt wierd when i rendered too... Is there a best way to do a xenon headlight with a material, because it is impossivle to do it otherwise because of the "angel eyes" of the camaro. (or maybe there's a trick i do not know about.) Oh btw. I've been making raw renders, my comp ain't that good and the render in the studio without any lightinign in the car. (only the v-ry ligts of the studio) the render took more than 2 hours. and i only have the chassis and te front part done. so... the render is really a killer |

Soz for double post but i had to split this up.
This is the best result i could achieve. Using the render studio. The fog ligths are behind a car headlight plastic mat. in the headlights there is just the main glass. It still feels somewhat wierd. I still got to improve the other mats but this headlight is giving me a hell of an headache. Anyone can help me out with this? |

Well i can try that but that ain't gonna work at the angel eyes. i can't "model" the shape of the light. and i would like to make the fog lights just like the angel eyes. and only the round headlight would be different (i'm gonna try to simulate several leds)
One thing though. What do you mean about "IES light here"? Soz for the n00bism -_-'' |
