WIP Koenigsegg CCR

Hi,

This is my first attempt at modelling a car, a Koenigsegg CCR. All modelled using good old polygons. Still a lot to do such as interior, suspension, engine etc. Any comments good or bad welcome.

Thank you for looking.

Pan3sar - Thank you very much, still a lot of work left, but I'm happy with it at the moment.

Here's a couple of wireframe shots, all quads apart from the odd tri.

Here is an update with the interior completed, once again all poly modelled. I've modelled it as accurately as I can so that the car can easily be made into a convertible like the real car, and all the bodywork lines up nicely in any configuration of doors/boot/bonnet open or closed etc.

Thank you for looking and please feel free to leave feedback, both good or bad.

Now onto the engine...

the door opens really strangely, the handle on the inside of the door looks floating, the gearstick looks rather large everything else looks quite good

Hey again Pan3sar, thanks for your comments. The door handle and gearstick were the two things I was unsure of, so Im glad youve spotted them too. I will go back and rework those areas. What do you mean regarding the doors, was it a crit or an observation?

Thanks again guys

the doors dont look like they are on a hinge like conventional doors they look floating and detached from the car in the render with the doors open

The doors work like that, see my attachment
On topic: I think the model looks great and the mesh is neat, the car should probs be advanced. Keep it up and hope to see some updates soon.
