@Snecx: come on, you quoted him in an unfair way. the intention was how far can you go. i agree with you but it's a bit cheap. plus, it would be cool to see peugeot build a hovercar.

Apologies if I got it mistaken. I wasn't in mood so I gave a general explanation which is quite straight to the point. You can build a hover car, flying car, morphing car, and I don't know if those are appropriate? Let me put it this way, no offense to anybody's idea: hover car seems okay but it is hard to explain those concepts properly. If you want to have futuristic car, maybe making a maglev car would do, but then it would need to go with a set of other things like appropriate track and explanation to make it work but that is still possible. Tech used like in Audi RSQ or the Toyota MTRC, those can be appropriate although the tech is a bit too advanced for us now. I said "can be" because it is not too fictional. Another example would be the Nike 2022 fictional car made for the game Gran Turismo. That is really way beyond what a car should be. People make it, it is creative, but I doubt it is easy to win with that rather than a more realistic design? If it's me, I would go with a more realistic car with unique features that can run on the road today and in the distant future rather than one unexplainable concept that does something cool. Come to think about it, nobody said a realistic concept can't be cool. So I hope my explanation isn't cheap, but as I said, I was not in mood to explain too deeply. I believe my one-line reply was a bit offensive? Apologies if it was so. |

in fairness i was in a bad mood when i wrote so i'll appologise as well. i agree with you about the logic of using a hover car. my only point was about the legality of doing such. sorry for that.
